Why this is important to us
Your business is extremely important and we’re building Trendle to make your working life easier, not any more complicated than it already is.
We want you to fall in love with Trendle and use us for every single job you do from now on, but we know that we need to earn your trust before that can happen. The early release version is also only the start and doesn’t have all of the features we want to give you in the future.
That’s why we’ve pulled together the below suggestions for testing out Trendle, so you can try it with confidence. Please give them a go to find out for yourself how useful Trendle can be.
1. Try it yourself
Once we’ve set up your shopfront and you have your URL, we recommend that you go take a look at it yourself. Hopefully you’ll love the look of your shopfront as much as we do.
We also recommend that you make a test enquiry. Hit the ‘make an enquiry’ button, fill in the form (we recommend using your own email address in the form so you can also see what the customer will see in their email!), and submit the enquiry.
You will then receive the enquiry email to your inbox, and also the customer’s confirmation email, if you’ve used your own email address in the enquiry form.
2. Share with friends and family
Try it out with your friends and family. Roleplay with them pretending to be a real customer - have them take a look at your shop front and make a job enquiry.
This is a really good way for you to understand how useful Trendle could be for your customers, as well as for you.
3. Share with your loyal customers
Next, you could share it with some of the customers you know best and who you can trust to get in touch if they have any questions about using Trendle.
You could ask them to put a test booking through, if they have any items to be repaired or altered and want to book you in for it, this could be a perfect way for them to book their next job with you.
4. Share it on your socials and other touchpoints
Now that you’re hopefully feeling really clear and confident about how valuable Trendle is for managing your incoming work, and giving your customers a great experience, why not try it out in the wild?
We recommend adding the link to your Trendle shopfront to the following places.
Likewise, if you’ve got an engaged community on your socials, you could also always post your Trendle link and share it that way.

If you don’t already have a website (or even if you do, but you prefer Trendle!) you could add us on your Google Business Profile, which people will see when they search for you on Google.
Here’s a guide on how to edit your profile.

We love a link in bio as much as the next person. Add a link to Trendle in your bio or set Trendle as the page you link to from your profile.

If you have a Facebook page for your business, you could add a link to Trendle in your bio, or add a call-to-action button.
